Robert E. Hardman joined the law firm of Kelly, Kelleher, Reilly & Simpson in May of 1997. He was previously
associated with Carroll, Kelly & Murphy, where he practiced insurance defense work for a variety of clients, including ITT Hartford,
St. Paul Companies, Greater New York Insurance Company, General Accident Insurance Company, Medical Malpractice Joint Underwriting
Association, Robert Leathers and Associates, Cerelli Foods and Pacesetter, Inc. His area of legal expertise includes workers' compensation
litigation, business and corporate litigation, products liability law, negligence, insurance defense litigation and real estate litigation.
He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on October, 22, 1956; admitted to bar 1988, Rhode Island; 1989, U.S.
District Court, District of Rhode Island; and 1994, U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals. Education: Community College of Rhode Island
(A.A.1978); University of Rhode Island (B.S.N.1982); Suffolk University (J.D. 1988) He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association;
Superior Court Bench Bar Committee and the Workers' Compensation Bench-Bar Committee. He is an approved arbitrator with the
Rhode Island Superior Court, Court-Annexed Arbitration Program.
