Our History K R S Since 1953, Kelly, Kelleher, Reilly & Simpson has been providing a wealth of legal resources to the greater providence area and all of Rhode Island. Our founding partners Edmund Kelly and Frank Kelleher were both graduates of Providence College, Mr. Kelly was a member of the school's first graduating class in 1923. Both men continued on to earn degrees from Boston University Law School. Upon returning to Rhode Island, Mr. Kelly became the first graduate of Providence College to practice law in the Ocean State and Mr. Kelleher spent time as a prosecutor in the office of the Attorney General. In 1953, Kelly, Kelleher was founded in order to provide quality legal representation to the Providence community. For twenty years, the firm provided legal representation for all legal matters -- criminal and civil. In the mid 1970's, Kelly, Kelleher slowly shifted its practice to handle only civil law. The firm's client roster began to expand to include larger businesses while still providing the attentiveness and personal service that our individual clients had always received -- and still receive today. Soon, in the 1980's, Kelly, Kelleher, Reilly & Simpson had well established offices in both Providence and Narragansett in order to provide its services to the whole state of Rhode Island. We pride ourselves on the professional, personal service and competitive fees we are able to offer our clients.
